For our division Living & Lifestyle, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Designer Technical Apparel for an international lifestyle sports brand in Italy.
Job description:
In the role of Senior Designer Technical Apparel, you are responsible for the whole creative process of designing technical apparel sportswear. You will be carrying out market research on current trends, analysing them as well as implementing innovation. In order to promote the brand and to be up to date with the current trends and competitors, you will be visiting and preparing for various fashion and sports trade fairs. You will organise and present new inventive concepts, prepare the whole collection for all styles and present it to the company.
Requirements:
Skillz Recruitment is looking for a candidate with a Bachelor or Master degree in Fashion Design and 5 years experience in designing technical sports apparel (e.g. extreme sports gear). You have broad knowledge about technical sports materials and you are experienced to maximise the functionality and comfort of the clothing up to the single details. You also know how to style and fit the sports garments, you are aware of production and procurement processes, and with your good organisational and IT skills you will ensure the company’s top position within the extreme sports market. You are a team player and passionate not only about design of technical sportswear, but you are also enthusiastic about outdoor sports. You master the English language, German or Italian language skills are a plus.
