For our division Footwear & Accessories, we are currently recruiting for a Head Creative Design for a high-street retailer.
Job description:
In the role of Head Creative Design you are responsible for managing a team of designers across women’s accessories, responsible for designing a broad range of accessories comprising of bags, shoes, jewellery, watches, small leather goods, hats, scarves and belts. You work directly with the CEO on strategically building and growing the accessories range. You source materials and components from suppliers, attend international fairs and liaising closely with production throughout the development process.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate Skillz Recruitment is looking for has a degree in Fashion with proven track record in designing women’s accessories. You have a minimum of 5 year of experience with designing accessories and leading a team of designers. You are aware of the current trends, have excellent eye for details (shape, colour, materials and trims). You have good commercial understanding of the women’s accessories market and excellent organisational skills with ability to organise, prioritise workload and delegate. You have experience with the European and Far East suppliers market. You have excellent drawing and presentation skills and the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Furthermore you are fluent in the English language (preferably you also master the Portuguese language). You are a visionary leader with passion for fashion and the willingness to relocate.
