For the growth of our company we are looking for a Strategic Marketing Intern.

Job description:
As a Strategic Marketing Intern, you are responsible for the development, management and execution of the Skillz marketing and communications strategy, including our online presence and company website. You are also responsible for understanding the key drivers of the fashion business in terms of online marketing channels, direct marketing, visitors and conversion rate. You will develop and implement a marketing plan that will attract new clients, and you will grow client awareness and build our image preference within our target audiences. You achieve this by: managing and supporting our website; defining and managing our international offline and online communication strategy; developing online campaigns, affiliates and SEO; determining the right channels to help us convey our message and make media selections; acting as a Skillz ambassador, monitoring the correct use and promotion of Skillz; defining and managing a social media strategy; developing marketing collateral e.g. company profile, fashion blog, newsletter and email shots; taking care of all the other day to day marketing activities when necessary.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate Skillz Recruitment is looking for has a passion for the Fashion industry and its related industries. You are currently studying for your Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing or Communications. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience with social media, Google AdWords and SEO techniques. You are a person with a sound mix of creative vision, communication and social skills. You are aware of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services. Due to the dynamic nature of our business, self motivation and the ability to learn quickly are essential, and you must be a decisive, action-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial drive. You master the English language perfectly in word and writing and master one other Western European language, preferably Dutch.

Job description:
As an Intern for the Living & Lifestyle division, you are responsible for the development of your division. You make sure that your division is successful in achieving the target goals. You achieve this by: Building up a client base of international Living & Lifestyle organisations with a subsidiary or presence in Europe with an recruitment need; Building up a client base of international Living & Lifestyle professionals across the globe; Using sales, business development and marketing techniques in order to attract business from client companies; Building relationships with clients; Developing a good understanding of what client companies do and their work culture; Advertising vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts using a wide range of media (e.g. websites); headhunting – identifying and approaching suitable candidates; Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and short-listing candidates; Checking references and suitability of applicants before referral to employers for interview; Arranging interviews for the right candidates with the clients; Preparing résumés and correspondence to forward to clients in respect of
suitable applicants; Informing candidates about the results of their interviews and preparing letters of appointment; Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates; Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression; Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are creative in acquiring new business and have good marketing skills. You are able to think quickly on your feet, able to sell and the ability to talk to people and get them to open up. Most importantly you have a desire to win. You are also able to quickly get back on your feet after a setback. You master the English language perfectly in word and writing and master one other European language, preferably (Dutch, German, French, Italian or Spanish). You are available for at least six months.
